The Export-Import Bank of Korea, an official export credit agency
serving the country's international traders, has joined the UN
Environment Programme Finance Initiative, whose objective is the
continuous improvement of sustainability performance.
The bank operates two government-entrusted funds - the Economic Development Co-operation Fund, which is aimed at strengthening Korea's economic co-operation with developing countries by providing concessional loans, and the Inter-Korean Co-operation Fund, which promotes reconciliation and co-operation with North Korea.
