Sir Stuart Hampson,  chairman of the John Lewis Partnership, is the new chair of the national regeneration leadership team at Business in the Community. He replaces John Spence, Lloyds TSB's director of policy co-ordination and risk, who has stepped down after five years to become chair of Bitc's finance and risk committee. The regeneration leadership team directs Bitc work on encouraging companies to help revitalize run-down areas.
