Daniella Gould, who for two years has run the China office of Impactt, which assesses the effects of corporate policies and makes proposals for improvements, is taking over as the organization's director for North America and East Asia. From the Impactt office in Los Angeles she will work with US clients on China projects.

The new China director is Ban Lee, who has worked until now with Oxfam Hong Kong on labour and HIV and Aids programmes in China. She has been involved in establishing more than ten non-governmental organizations dealing with labour issues.
