 A dissertation on corporate responsibility in Mexico has won the annual prize for the best master's thesis on international development, which is awarded by the World Bank and the Amsterdam Institute for International Development. Francis Weyzig, a researcher for the Netherlands-based Centre for Research on Multinational Corporations, contends that the CSR practices of multinationals in Mexico have made a significant contribution to the country's economic development.
