Volkswagen is the highest-ranked automobile company for sustainability policies and practice, according to US-based rating agency Innovest. The German company was the only one of 16 businesses in the sector to achieve an AAA rating in Innovest’s study of social and environmental performance. Renault was ranked second and General Motors third.
