Reebok has become the first company to have a supplier monitoring programme accredited by the US-based Fair Labor Association, a non-profit body that monitors labour standards. The accreditation relates to Reebok’s footwear factory programme, which has been operating around the world for two years. It means the programme now has the FLA’s stamp of approval, but will be reassessed in two years’ time. Reebok’s monitoring programme for clothing suppliers will come up for accreditation next year.
