Philippines-based Union Cement Holcim has won the ‘best CSR policies’ section of the first Asian CSR awards. Runners-up were the sugar company Central Azucarera Don Pedro (now known as Roxas Holdings), also of the Philippines, and the oil company Unocal Thailand. A total of 140 organizations entered the awards, run by the Asian Institute of Management.
