Fire and safety products firm Kidde has produced its first stand-alone corporate social responsibility report. The 10-page document reveals that the UK company’s top 40 suppliers, representing 16 per cent of its spending, have ‘seen and endorsed’ its CSR policy, and have each agreed programmes of improvement. Other first-time reporters last month included Swedish life sciences company Novozymes, which has produced its debut triple bottom line report integrating annual accounts with environmental and social data, ICI, which published its first sustainability report, construction group Wimpey, and the Irish insurance firm Eagle Star Life. Waterford Crystal is expected to produce its first CSR report shortly.
