Marks and Spencer has unveiled a programme to offer 600 work placements to homeless people at its UK stores. The £280,000 ($402,000) programme – part of Business in the Community’s ‘Business action on homelessness’ campaign – will include two-week work placements offered at M&S stores in 12 UK cities and in Dublin, over the next two years (EP3, issue 10).
