Draft conclusions of an initiative to improve the social responsibility of mining companies will be made public next month. The Mining, Minerals and Sustainable Development project was due to publish its initial proposals before Christmas, but has delayed the launch until March so it can fine-tune the conclusions. The steering group will meet for a final time from 18-19 February in London.
