In my first interview from last week's Fortune Brainstorm Green conference I had a chance to talk to Kathy Abusow, President & CEO of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative. Specifically, we talked about SFI's Conservation and Community Partnerships Grant Program which fosters partnerships with organizations interested in improving forest management. I also discussed how the concept of natural capital is playing a roll in building win-win partnerships between water utilities and landowners looking for an incentive to preserve the ecosystem services their forests provide.
